The job

You can already see the market. You can't see which five matter.

A morning's scrolling turns up two hundred vans and no way to tell the underpriced one from the one that's underpriced for a reason.

Every trade buyer does the same three hours: five tabs, the same adverts you saw yesterday, and a nagging feeling the good one went at 7am to somebody who was looking when you weren't. That's the whole job — and it's the bit we do, before you've had a coffee.

How it works

Tell us what you buy. Open the board.

There is no setup weekend and nothing to install. We build the searches with you on the call, and they run from that morning on.

1

You tell us your patch

What you buy, what you won't touch, how far you'll travel and your ceiling. Panel vans within 60 miles under £8k. Campers anywhere. Whatever your yard actually turns.

2

We sweep, price and grade

Five marketplaces, swept through the day. Every motor priced against others of its own age, model and mileage — then read properly, advert text and photographs both.

3

You work a short list

Open the board with your coffee. A handful of rows, each with what to pay, what it resells for, and the seller's number. Star it, bin it, or ring it.

Grading

A price rank tells you it's cheap. It doesn't tell you it's good.

So every shortlisted motor gets read the way you'd read it — the advert in full, the photographs, the service history, the small print — and comes back with a verdict and the workings.

Why

  • £4,500 against a model median of £6,995 across 181 Transit Connects on the board — £2,495 under, and the cheapest in its entire era group.
  • 82,000 miles against the model median of 101,000. Lower miles and lower price than most.
  • Crewcab and ULEZ compliant — both add resale over a standard panel van.

Five verdicts, and nothing woollier

Avoidthe useful one

Recorded write-off, clocked, or cheap for a reason you'd only find on the drive.

On every row

Everything you'd otherwise open six tabs for.

The point of a board is that the answer is already on it. No hopping to a history checker, no hunting for a phone number, no wondering whether you looked at this one on Tuesday.

Priced against its own kind

Measured against others of the same age, model and mileage — not a list price and not a guess. What comes back is a number: this one is £1,600 under, and it's fourth cheapest of the forty-three we watch for you.

Cheap for a reason, flagged

A Cat S looks like the bargain of the week until you read the small print, and so does one that doesn't start. Both get pulled out of the ranking and labelled, because a repaired write-off measured against clean stock will always look like money.

The seller's number on the row

Private sellers included, where it's published. No messaging apps, no waiting for a reply that comes after somebody else has already been round with cash.

MOT and mileage history

Advisories, failures and the mileage at every test, behind the row. A clocked motor shows up as a mileage that goes backwards, and you see it before you set off.

A full vehicle check when you're serious

Outstanding finance, write-off category, stolen marker, plate and VIN — on the one you're actually going to see, not on all two hundred.

Shortlist, notes and a deal pipeline

Star it and it's yours until you're done with it. Notes, appointments and stages, so the one you rang on Tuesday doesn't quietly vanish off the board on Friday.

The maths

One van a year and it's paid for.

Not one a week. One a year. That is the whole business case, and it is why this is an easy conversation.

The Transit Connect above is a real row off a real board. Buy it at £4,000, retail it at £6,500, and the margin on that single motor covers your subscription for the year with change left over. Everything the board finds after that is profit you weren't going to see.

What's not in the price

Full vehicle provenance checks — finance, write-off category, stolen marker — are charged at cost, per check, only on the ones you're serious about. Most weeks that's two or three. You'll never be charged for a check you didn't press.

Why there's only one plan

A tiered version of this would mean holding back the grading, and the grading is the product. So there isn't one.

Cancelling

One click, from your own billing page, and it stops at the end of the month you've paid for. No email, no retention call, no notice period.

Already pay for a trade platform?

This isn't one, and it doesn't replace one. Those sell you access to a marketplace. This reads five of them for you and tells you which five motors are worth your morning — including the private adverts a trade platform will never show you.

The honest version: if you already buy well and have the time to scroll five sites every morning, you don't need this. It sells time back to people who haven't got it.

Questions

The ones every dealer asks.

Straight answers, including the ones that aren't flattering.

Where do the listings come from?
Every marketplace a trade buyer already scrolls, plus the ones most don't bother with — which is usually where the quiet ones are. We don't publish the list, because a sourcing edge you've announced isn't one.
Is this just a price alert?
No. A price alert tells you something is cheap. Half of what's cheap is cheap for a reason — a recorded write-off, a non-runner, a clocked mileage — and those are exactly the ones that top a price-sorted list. Every shortlisted motor here is read properly, advert and photographs both, and comes back with a verdict and the reasoning behind it.
How quickly do new listings appear?
The biggest marketplace is re-checked every hour through the day. The others sweep once daily. In practice you're seeing the morning's stock with your first coffee, which is well before most of the trade has opened a laptop.
What if I buy cars, not vans?
Then you get cars. The searches are built round what you actually turn — cars, vans, campers, motorhomes, trucks, or some mix. It's your patch, your ceiling, your radius.
Do I get the seller's phone number?
Where the marketplace publishes one, yes, including on private adverts, and it sits on the row. Some marketplaces are messaging-only and no tool can conjure a number out of them — those rows say so rather than pretending.
Does the £199 include vehicle checks?
It includes everything on the board: the sweeps, the pricing, the grading, the MOT and mileage history, the shortlist and the pipeline. Full provenance checks — outstanding finance, write-off category, stolen marker — are charged at cost per check, and only when you press the button on one you're serious about.
Is there a contract?
No. It's month to month, you cancel in one click from your own billing page, and it stops at the end of the month you've already paid for.
What happens after the free trial?
Your card is charged £199 on day 4 and monthly after that. Cancel before then and you're charged nothing at all — the card is taken up front so the board doesn't stop dead on the morning you finally get round to it.
Can more than one of us use it?
Yes. It's priced per yard, not per person, so put your buyer on it too.

Something not answered? Ask us directly — you'll get a person.
